The Solar Panel Kit 30 Watt is used in place of the AC transformer for gate opener installations more than 1,000 ft. away from an AC power source, or for any installation where solar power is preferred. It features easy DIY installation and wires directly to the Mighty Mule gate opener control panel. The panel can be installed up to 250 ft from the control box with additional Mighty Mule low voltage wire (RB509). This kit also qualifies for the residential energy efficient property tax credit.
